About our guests:
Brady Trelfall is a local elite long distance runner who is currently ranked seventh in Australia for the marathon distance. Brady combines his passion for running with his role as a consistent and reliable deputy principal at St Patrick’s School in Tongala, and is involved in a number of community initiatives.
“I’ve seen how my life has transformed through my passion in distance running, it’s given me many opportunities to meet some amazing people, travel the world and push myself to achieve some great things that I’m really proud of,” Brady.
As a mother to three boys and as one half of the successful locally based and home grown company Coolabah Turf, Suzie Shearer gives her all to everything she does. As a former newspaper journalist and passionate advocate for the Echuca Moama region, Suzie loves to squeeze as much as she can into her day and honours her ability to choose her attitude every day.
“The one constant in all of the chapters of my life that have lead me to where I am today would undoubtedly be my ‘people passion’ and the empathy and raw emotion that comes with this true love. I am totally inspired by and love meeting people from all walks of life for the first time or over again – young or young at heart – and just love knowing what path has lead them to where they are today and genuinely love seeing other people succeed,” Suzie.
Joanna Werner is a three time Emmy Nominated, AFI, AACTA and multi Logie award winning producer. Joanna is the executive producer, producer and co-creator of the acclaimed teen drama series Dance Academy, which is currently screening in over 160 countries around the world, and Ready For This, a co-venture with Blackfella Films, which screened on ABC3 earlier this year.
Joanna, who grew up in Gunbower, recently produced Secret City a 6-part political thriller starring Jacki Weaver and is currently completing her first feature film Dance Academy: The Movie – which filmed in Sydney and New York and follows on from the Dance Academy series and will be released in cinemas around Australia in 2017.
“I absolutely love the job I have found myself in and am genuinely very passionate about it. I love being able to work with so many talented and creative people to create something that audiences from around the world can watch and hopefully be inspired by,” Jo.
