Junction is thrilled to have been awarded a 1 Glass Rating (recommended) in this year’s Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards.

The coveted awards were established to recognise restaurants, hotels, pubs, clubs and wine bars across Australia, and their talented and dedicated sommeliers, that are committed to presenting the best possible wine selection and service to their customers.

Awarded by two judging panels, the review highlights Junction’s dedication to discovering the region’s finest. Here’s what they had to say:

“It’s short, it’s sharp, it’s flush with great wines to drink from a great variety of good to excellent to interesting producers. It’s the kind of wine list that maximises through a minimum, ducking and weaving from well-known favourites of established producers, but allows for those willing to explore to be delighted by newer stars on the vinous horizon. While Giaconda, Yeringberg and Oakridge make claim to their thrones, there’s flair from producers like Rhone-nouveau winemaker Maxime Graillot, and Giaconda’s stablemate, Domenica, also from Beechworth’s hallowed turf. The wine list doesn’t pander to a stereotype of wine drinker, instead, welcomes all comers to settle in or perhaps explore.
